I need help dating / identifying this beautiful coat

I found this beautiful coat at a local thrift shop. I’m trying to date it. I know Kessler’s was a local family owned department store in Birmingham Alabama that was in business from 1915-1998. I cannot find anything on the brand label. There are no other labels. I have included these pictures. Any suggestions?

I think it's a late 30s to early 40s cusper. Here's a 25th anniversary Kessler's store ad from 1942. They offered Grayce dé Vyne fur trimmed coats and dresses there. The collar is mink.
