Yoy Yoy I need help describing the front of this purse....

To me it just looks like panels of marbelized plastic but could someone please be a little more creative than this????

How would you describe it??? For now all it is is a vintage lacquer straw box purse handbag....:BAGUSE:

Its got amber colored plastic handles and the same adornment is on the clasp...I hate to use tortoise-like as then some bright light bulb (or dim) might decide to report me even though I am just describing the plastic, certainly not made out of turtle!!!

A BIG TANK U!!! And would this be considered as VLVish?? Just wondering....

Oooh la la Nanc!

It reminds me almost like a faux mother of pearl effect.

I would call it a "Vintage Box Basket Purse" or a Vintage Basket Box Purse versus Straw i think. Mention the amber handles (how about rootbeer???? a lot of people search for rootbeer colored bakelite and other plastics). Call the panels "Faux marble insets," and talk about how it reminds you of those expensive mother of pearl inlays...only funkier etc....

I will have to think some more

I am rather hesitant about mentioning "lucite" as I don't know for sure if this is the case....That is why I kinda went for amber tone in my auction but I will add ROOTBEER. As a matter of fact Frothy Rootbeer!!!:D

I will continue to work on the listing, lord knows it will be a long time as I shake my head back and forth....

Oh...i didn't know about lucite...just that people search "rootbeer" colored a number of things.

i know..those insets also reminded me of those pearlized fancy finishes on custom/classic cars, etc.
