I need help on some large sized shoes please..

Both are out of my collection. I am rather unhappy to let the first pair go since A) I have had them for ove 10 years. B) They are really hard to find in good condition & C) they are a size 11 11 1/2. The problem is since I had my child, my feet are not as narrow as they used to be. A good thing and bad.

The second pair have always been a little short on me. They are a size 10.

Any help with years and descriptions would be VERY helpful.

Could you measure the length and width for me? I may be interested but I'm not on ebay.

for dating could you take some pictures from above straight on, this way we can see the label and shape inside.
from what's there I would say the first pair are pre-1970's is the light-coloured material on the platform straw/raffia or something else?

The shoe expert on this site will surely come along and date you shoes precisely.

Until then, I'll say I think the second pair is 1940s and I think the first pair is 1940s as well or a little bit later, perhaps early 50's.

Agree with sMarie - I would date the first pair as being about 1949-1952, and the second pair a little earlier: about '47-49.

#1) They have snakeskin trim. Length 11 3/16", Width 3 1/4" and Heel 4"

#2) Length 10 5/8", width 3 1/8", heel 3 1/8"
