Quite some time back, I picked up 3 Mariam Haskell faux baroque pearl pieces.

I' ve been able to find similar ones of the 2 necklaces but I can't find a similar bracelet to this one.

Do we have a jewelry person who can help me with age and asking price??

Maureen -

I think Anne (Artisannes) collects Miriam Haskell -- ? Or is it Hattie Carnegie - or both?! :BAGUSE: And I know we have other "jewelry people" here who'll be able to help ~

If you can believe it, I found this exact bracelet in a book on vintage jewelry designers tonight! My husband and I went down the hill to Border's Books and we were both flipping through the jewelry books looking for stuff on Haskell and there was MY bracelet!! Naturally I had to buy the book!!

It dates this bracelet as 1940s and it gave a lovely, lovely, lovely value! :clapping:

Of course, now I don't want to list it!! :hysterical:

Absolutely Hollis!! I just couldn't believe my eyes! There was my bracelet in a book!! I have never had anything of mine turn up in a book before :clapping:

And as if that wasn't enough, after that I was flipping though another book on vintage plastic jewelry (bakelite etc) and there was ANOTHER bracelet of mine!! I was totally floored!!! Naturally I bought that book too!! :hysterical:

Some gals have all the luck.

Or the folks at the bookstore were informed what you have and just slipped in the extra pages so you would buy lotsa books

Oh and did I ever buy a lot of books (and cds....) that night :BAGUSE:

Even the cashier said, "Boy, you sure are putting down tonight!" :hysterical:
