I have bought this two hats from a second hand market.
Bouth have the same label "LIDIA Lipkowitsch - Frankfurt"
Please help me date them.

I can't come up with anything with the label. I am bad with the date of hats I'm afraid, but I'm sur someone will help out soon.
Are they both the same, just different colours?

They look 30s to me, but seeing the label might really help.

I have done a pretty extensive search and I could not find anything relating to that name. Maybe someone who specialises in hats will come along soon and be able to help.

Maybe its a name that was never imported and was more continental. That's a possibility. Especially with the world events going on at the time between the two wars.

I have a friend who collects German and Austrian fashions. I will ask him -- he might be familiar with the label.

I contacted my friend who is the German/Austrian fashion collector and he looked through his various books and magazines but couldn't find that milliner listed.

If you are going to sell these hats anytime soon. Let me know as I need to think about buying him a birthday present soon!
