Hello, I was told that these were field work boots. The tag said early 19th century but I am thinking it should have said early early 1900s.
I think they are from around the 20s. What do you think?

Hi Jonathan, So should I say circa 1914-1930 or is that too far of a stretch? Thank you, Caryn

Jonathan, I was trying to research these and I looked up the rubber soles tite edge. I came up with the date that Tite edge became trademarked which was in 1949. Does this mean the boots are newer than I thought, maybe that the rubber heels were replaced, or that tite edge rubber heels were around long before being trademarked?

It's Jonathan, not John...

Yes, these date sometime between 1918 and 1940. I looked at the website in your link and it says the trademark was registered in 1947 but it was first used in 1917.

Sorry Jonathan and thanks, I went back and saw it! Thank you. I appreciate your help. I edited above to correct your name too..my bad. ;)
