I found a few old patterns in a charity shop, this is my favourite. It's surrounded by wartime ads.

Those are lovely! I have several old (40s/50s) knitting books and the patterns are wonderful. Alas, I don't knit either. :(

I used to do basic knitting, but I also thought these would be beyond me.

I wish there was a Little Old Lady knitting service!

Those are both fabulous, and if knitted up properly, would be heirloom pieces.
I am the world's worst knitter. Very rudimentary skills. My Mom knits well, but I think these would be beyond her.
