Identification of vintage clutch bag, maybe alligator/crocodile skin

Hi all!

I’m lucky to have a few things that used to be my grandmother’s, this clutch included.

Maybe it’s leather, maybe immitation. I have a few questions that maybe one of you are able to answer

1) How can one tell if it’s real leather?
2) Does anyone recognize the label?
3) Which year could it be from?

Maybe 70s? I have what I’ve been told is a faux crocodile purse. That little clutch style to me looks 70s. Hope this helps!

EDIT: It could also be 90s…. my mother has some from the 90s.

Hi Elin and welcome to the forums. I can't see enough detail to be sure of date but from what I understand, if it has a dot it's Croc and so yours is likely alligator.
