Identify Vintage Costume Jewellery LANG

I recently found this interesting costume ring stamped LANG. Anyone know who LANG is?

The only company I can think of at the moment is Pierre Lang - an Austrian jewelery/costume jewelry company:

. I thought they were German, but they're Austrian. I really only know the name because I had a work colleague once who talked about it because she'd started selling their stuff - which sounded like some kind of MLM thing. Their website doesn't say anything about that, but Wikipedia says it is an MLM and they sell the jewelry that way.
