Identifying a designer and era on vintage mink stole cape

I've inherited a Mink stole cape from my 86 yr old mother in-law. She said she's had it for years. My guess would be from the late 50's. Its in really good shape. Satin lining has beautiful embroidered designs but no label.
I'm curious, if anyone would know just by the designs on the lining, as to whom it was designed?
Thank you.

Hi, If you show photos we can likely help you verify the fur type and age however we would be unable to determine the designer based on the embroidery on the lining.

Thank you

Thank you Furwise. It is very pretty.
I am blessed to know her (she is still living), and be part of her life and her family.
Horribly sad to say though, I just do not have a use for it...

I have a silly ? Possibly you may be able to answer Caryn.

I see so many lovely linings on coats and stoles and such.

Of course many different fur house labels but was there a specific company or 2 that solely provided the beautiful linings?
I often fall so in love with the linings.

You really know fur. I am always fascinated by your expertise with them.

Thanks.

Not a silly question at all. The linings come from various fabric distributors. A furrier may choose to contract with one who offers them the best prices however there are many. Some brands no matter what they make choose to get signature linings. In that case you would know the brand however you still would not know who supplied the lining.
