Just listed this NOS pair of shoes, with the original box, care pamphlet and ORIGINAL magazine ad from a 1949 issue of Life. LUCY is wearing the EXACT shoe has I have!!

And for those of you that just want to wear the shoes..they are a FABULOUS size 9!!!

This auction has the NOS shoes, box and a 1953 magazine ad with Rhonda Fleming. The red pair of shoes in the ad are the exact shoe in the auction!

If you want to wear these, you better have small feet as they are a size 5!

Those red ones are Exactly what a gang of us have been commiserating about for eons!

For years you could buy the copied (cheap) style at Woolworths. Now that Woolworth's is closed, we're all jonesing for them! LOL

Any chance you have them in other - as in bigger - sizes?

No I did not get them together....they shoes are from the old store and I probably sold about 30 pair of them..then someone emailed me some scans they had and I used them in my aucitons...then I was fortunate enough to find and buy the original magazines ads for the few pair that I have left.

I may have a few more pair around here my sister (my partner) is checking through all our boxes!

Funny you mentioned Woolworths....I posted this on the VCA board and that is what everyone is remembering!
