if you buy off ebay why not go through a cashback site.

before .. i go any further this isnt plugging for referrals or anything like that...

last year i found out about cashback sites... where if you go through the cashback site/link.... you get either a % or a set amount of cash ..back.....

this site does cash back for ebay.... its a % so if you buy regular on ebay.... it used to be just the b.i.n, but i think its for auctions listings too.... its worth going through the cash back site....and then place your bid or buy the items..

the site is called quidco... www.quidco.com

they also do loads of other sites as well..... this year i had £100 casback on my car insurance so it ended up only costing me £59.
plus there are somethings that work out that you make more cashback than what you spend ( yes i know crazy, but i have done it with a few things on there )

i also buy a lot of books from the book people... and there is cashback with them too....

as i say there is no referrals with this site.... so i have nothing to gain... just wanted to pass on the info... so peeps can get something back while shopping on the internet.....its a british site..... so dont know if its any good to overseas vfg people.....

there are loads of cashback sites out there...

you also get paid for doing searches.. like kelkoo etc..

the one i mentioned quidco is the one i use..... but if you google cashback sites..... you will find loads..... but a lot of them have a min.. payout.. which sometimes can be hard to reach.. if you dont do loads of shopping on the internet....

so thats why i like quidco.. you set your own min payout....
 
is this similar to affiliation sites??? I have had trouble trying to register as the usa based sites want information from you to pay tax, a crock i thought so havent bothered. I will look into it if you dont have to register your house and knickers!!! LOL
 
oh yeah, i used to actually use ebates.com!

they would mail checks and i got a few decent sized ones. working in an office, i used to order the companies supplies going through that site and the cash back rewards would come to me.

i just looked into the site again - I made over $50 when I used it (in 2002!). now they'll pay you through paypal which is nice. they have every store i could think of. if you're going to online shop, might as well give yourself a couple of extra bucks for the heck of it.

if anyone's interested in signing up - u2u me, I have a link that we can both get $5.

arg! you know i'm so irritated now! last week i had to book a hotel for my boss (radisson), rental car (thrifty) and airfare (expedia) plus today i just ordered something from gnc.com - all of that i could have saved/made some loot on - they're all on the eBates list!! argggg

well, i know i have to buy my girlfriend a baby shower gift next week so i see babies r us is on there. lol

we should have a thread where we can share cool sites with referrals. i have a few that i love.
