Maybe you've seen this already, I dunno, I just found it. It's a wedding video of a couple doing their first dance like the "last dance of the season" scene in Dirty Dancing.

I loved that! First dances often come off as awkward, but that was just sweet.

Dirty Dancing was filmed at Lake Lure, which is about 45 minutes from me, and it has turned into a bit of a cult film in this area. For years my friend Linda's sister has led a "Dirty Dancing" troupe, which until just a few years ago performed all the dances at the inn where much of the filming was done.

yes! this has been all over the tv and press here for a few months now...they must have made a mint out of tv etc appearancse, and it makes me cringe...actually. I am ususaly quite a softie, but its soo awful!!! LOL....

Hahaha... I have my "first dance" coming up in December and have been looking for something fun to do... I've seen the thriller ones as well...

just need to rack my brain. as an 8 year old when that movie came out, and knowing every word of it I think it would be hilarious, but my fiancee HATES that movie.

we'll figure something out for US though. ;)
