I went to the ILGWU website. You can identify the date--more or less--by the #. I thought you could use the number to identify the manufacturer.
I have a copy of the Chanel suit in the photo I asked about. The only label in it is the ILGWU label. I have several Chanel copies with similar labeling. The quality of these copies is very good--perhaps better than Davidow.
Did Ohrbach's use ILGWU labels?
