Illegible Label

I have a early 70s polyester dress that has a frayed label.
I thought it was JP, but another person looked at it and saw IJP.
The bottom of the label has frayed almost to the P (which could be a D?)
Does anyone recognize this brand?

I don't know anything about the brand but I have a 70s velvet suit with the same tag, luckily all intact. Here's a photo:

This 1968 ad excerpt suggests to me that "JPs" stands for "Junior Petites"
