I\'m excited... a little brag to share!
I just had my first article published in a magazine and I'm ecstatic!!! It is a quarterly publication from the Vintage Fashion & Costume Jewelry Club. The topic was about owning a store and the changes in our world as regards to B&M's and the internet and customers.
My "retirement career" hopes to be very active in publishing from my long years in this business. So, naturally, having the first one in public is a major event!!
And just FYI.....
VFCJ has been around a long time and is 99.9% focused on jewelry even though the group name includes vintage fashion. I remember when I first joined I thought it was both - but have kept my membership active always anyway -and loved every minute of it. I've learned tons through this group publication! There is also an annual convention and it gets rave reviews!
If you'd like to add a quality reference magazine to your annual reading for a paltry sum... go to

I have kept every single issue I've received and it creates a fabulous resource library on vintage costume jewelry. Other members have submitted endless articles on lots of topics - it's really a great little magazine.
