I\'m Selling Out

Don't have all the details yet, but will let you know when I put everything up for sale - will be right after Xmas, I hope.

Items will include props, too. I just have to et Reggie to take a pic of the manne.

I just can't keep banging my head against the same ol wall & expecting different results. I am NEVER gonna get my website really off the ground. Not under the circumstances I am in for what - the last 4 years now.

I've decided to give it up & get a real job.

I can't take the stress, the worrying, eBay's BS rules & regs, etc etc etc. It just ain't for this ol gal.

So - it's been swell, y'all - If none of you are interested in my stock, someone please just email me so I won;t waste my time here.

Thanks.
Leisa

I'm sorry to hear that, Leisa.

But only you know what's best for you.. and if that's it.. well then that's it.

I know what you mean, though. This isn't an easy course to take. None of us will ever get rich at this (and if someone IS getting rich at this, I don't wanna know!)

Do what ya gotta do and take care of yourself!

Leisa, the only way I am able to do this is because half the year is spent at my real life job being an owner of a tax business.

I think you have made a wise decision. Go out and find a job you enjoy. I wouldn't sell all your stuff. You can always do this as a side line. There are several here I think who work full time and also sell on Ebay. Of course, right at first it wouldn't be a good idea since you need to get in full swing with the new job, but after a little while it might be just what you need to fill your time and gain a little extra income.

Hi Leisa
Sorry you're discouraged and want to give up selling vintage clothing. It is tough to depend on it as your only source of income.

But I agree with Linda. Once you find a steady job, you may want to sell for extra income and will regret that you got rid of everything. You could maybe keep things on a mall site that would be less expensive than paying the high Ebay fees.

Wish you luck with whatever you decide!

Thanks, Theresa.

I have a few things listed right now, but haven't had any energy to get the other stuff ready. I only got those 6 done because I bullied myself into taking advantage of the 10¢ listing day.

My arthritis is really getting bad. It kills me to walk the dog around the block. I dunno how I think I'm gonna work outside the house. The only thing I know how to do is retail or restaurant work. Both require standing & walking a lot...

Okay - I'm done whining. At least I have legs.
