60's or 70's?? Might even be 80's??

Help me, please! I couldn't find it in the RN registry and the lable isn't "Styled by Saybury"....

I'm so confused...

I don't know about elsewhere, but here in Aust, those sort of hippie dresses have never gone completely away - they probably started in the '70s but you can still get them, and they're usually made of cotton or rayon like yours. The label looks pretty recent ('80s or more recent).

Are there any other labels eg, care label?

Nicole -> No other labels, no care instructions.

I've found older labeles elsewhere that say "Styled by Saybury". They seem to range from 40's to 60's. I'm not sure when they dropped that and just went with Saybury.

Thanks again.

I agree with the others. This is definitely not 70's. The Made in India label style is fairly recent, so I'd place this dress within the last 20 years.

You guys are amazing! Thanks for taking the time to share your knowledge with me :)

What about the "made in india" label style dates this? I know in the 90's I purchased quite a few dresses from Global Village that were the "Made in India" type...

When did they start doing that? Was it a fad or trend?

Thanks again!

Vicki

Aren't they awesome - I'd've been "tricked" by it too :) lol it's a fun dress none the less, would look great belted.
