Indian Embroidered Tunic

I can't seem to find much about this piece.. Seems 90's from the tag?
Tag reads ROOPAM made in india
There is no other label!

any info greatly appreciated!

The style of the label looks 1970s to me but the garment design is not particularly revealing. It is a Kameez - the tunic part of a Salwar Kameez (Salwar being the lower half) which is a traditional Indian outfit still worn today.

Unfortunately I think this one has been through too high a temperature wash - causing the lining to shrink and leaving all the excess fabric hanging between the embroidery on the front.
