Can someone please give me some more information about a couple of knitted items that I have recently acquired?

First is an acrylic cardigan with the label TIVOLE; it is a button less short sleeved cardigan.

Secondly an acrylic cardigan with the label ticino (or licino) and has the word MAGLIFICIO at the top of the label and it is made in Italy.

I would like to know the age and the provenance of these pieces as my searches so far have drawn a blank. I have attached pictures.
many thanks italian 1.jpgItalian2.jpgTivole2.jpgTivole1.jpg

They both look 1960's to me from the colours used, and the amount of information on the blue cardigan's label; care details, but no wash symbols.

Maglificio means knitting mill, and it probably is called Ticino - that's what it looks like to me. Ticino is the southern most and only Italian-speaking canton of Switzerland. There's still quite a bit of textile production down there, and knitting mills too (think Zimmerli if the name rings a bell). So it's kinda funny that it's made in Italy actually, but of course there are a lot of ties between Italy and the Ticino, so who knows...
