Info on Bloomsbury London?

I saw a beautiful 2-piece ladies' suit (blazer + skirt) in a thrift shop today, by "Bloomsbury London" (the label is white/cream coloured with green writing). It was Wedgwood blue with colourful, flowery embroidery and fine pink trim - like something a royal would wear, or someone going to a fancy English tearoom.

I didn't buy it as it was marked up to US$40, but the name is vaguely familiar to me. I can't remember anything significant about it though, and a Google search has turned up nothing. I'm contemplating going back to get the suit - could anyone tell me more about Bloomsbury London? Sorry I didn't manage to get a photo!

It may be just a location rather than the actual maker/designer. Hard to tell much more without seeing label and the skirt. There are some amazing experts so maybe it will ring a bell with someone.

Thanks for the replies. Yes, I was also aware that Bloomsbury is an area of London - not sure why I remembered it as a brand in its own right! I may be dropping into the same shop again today. If so, I'll try to get a photo of the suit and post it up.

@Pinkcoke, "op shop" is the term for "thrift shop"/"charity shop" in our part of the world (Australia) :) It's basically a shortening of "opportunity shop".

jjl, thank you for the explanation :)

Usually around here I call them "charity shops" as it's a generic term but as you're from Aus too, I chose op shop. I love the term, it's so much positive than "charity" or "thrift" which has connotations of poverty. With Opportunity Shop, there's the promise of unexpected treasures, as if it's a place of excitement. I don't know who came up with the name originally, but I'm glad they did.

that's cool we don't have any names like that here in the UK, but charity shops are becoming very popular with the recent uptake in vintage interest and have less stigma attached to them now.
