Info on hat designer RIATEL, Florida

Hi Everyone,

Was hoping someone had info on the hat maker RIATEL, Flordia?

Found the amazing party hat (1950s?) and cannot find any info on the designer. Perhaps a small time boutique?

Any info would be appreciated!

That is an interesting hat, and nice too. The underside and small headsize opening makes me think it is a 1940s hat. I suspect, but am not sure, that the way you show it on your display head is not the way the designer intended it to be worn. Can you show it with the crown more softly draped to the back or side, and more "smashed down"?

I am not familiar with the label.
