information about this label please

I have looked up Ronnie Heller label - but the labels I find say "Ronnie Heller for MJ", This dress
just has "Ronnie Heller". It looks like a scooter dress, but I think it may be fairly new.
any help dating this dress is appreciated.thanks!

Your label looks like a modern one. If you can post pictures of the dress, and more details like fabric, type and placement of zipper etc, it will help.

Here is a little information from a 1988 article: "Four years ago, M.J. Originals stopped production of its moderately priced line sold under the MJ by Ronnie Heller label and launched a collection of better-price career dresses, using the designer's name alone."

I worked with Ronnie Heller at Puritain Fashions in New York City in 1977. He was also a critic at Parsons School of Design when I was a fashion design student there the year before. He had a sportwear line under his name - mainly double knit polyester.
