Information on 'Lois Young'..?

Hi-
I recently bought what looks to be an early 60s day dress by Lois Young of Dallas. I don't usually buy American brands (I'm from London, UK) so have no idea about the brand. I've seen other items with this label on but can't seem to find any further information on it. Can anyone help, just to sate my curiosity? Thanks!

Here's a pic of the dress and label. It looks like there was a lining to te skirt but it's been removed. Otherwise it's in good condition. The fabric seems to be a poly-cotton of some kind which, combined with the neck style and zip style, suggests early 60s to me - but I can't dig up anything further on it. Any help much appreciated!

Someone privately sent me some articles on this designer as I have a few of the dresses.
The DBA for Lois Young was filed Aug. 17, 1959. Perhaps they will come here and post the articles.

I am seeing 60s as well. The fabric looks like it might be an acetate. Is it cool to the touch?
