This jacket reminds me of a Norfolk one, but without the Norfolk pleat. I'm thinking 80s and I'd like to know what the proper term is for where my hand is at back ???
Right on MJ - wish I had a men's turtleneck to put on.
Baby Burping Jacket - lol. Yes, good eye and leads me to another question - it's embroidered Eddie Tuvo - not much on line except in Spanish where a guy with the same name is in wrestling or body building, but my Spanish is nil...
Wondering if I should just leave it or take it out. If I take the name out, will it leave a mark?
Oh I would leave it. Some people enjoy wearing other names, monograms; that's what it is right? I think it would likely leave a mark, if you removed, but would need to see a picture. Oh wait, I see it; above the pocket, right? Hmmm....
its the generic country look, suede elbow patches...like tweed, patterned soft wool shirts with a tie and crew neck pullover...its english country folk...and its hard to date cos they dont date..they stay the same...not rocknroll..LOL
Yes, it may technically be called a flange pleat but because this is a hunting jacket these pleats allow for the arm stretch when holding a gun and they are described today as jackets having a 'full action back' or 'an action shoulder pleat.'
I think Beretta (US) may have had similar collarless hunting jackets.
