Hi all, have I ever been buzy! Almost at 100 listing though, almost got all my pics done - whew!! Anyways, I have this outfit, I believe it's handmade - I'll just show you, I'd like to know what you all think of it please. Thanks

What do you guys think? What kind of outfit is this, what would I call it? Any thoughts on age?

Looks 80s to me. Those Princess Di wedding dress sleeves always say 80s to me. Also that tea length skirt was popular then. It could be a graduation dress or even a bridesmaid's dress? My mom always made my "fancy" dresses. Perhaps someone else had the same sort of mom. ;)
 
I agree with 80s! All the features are so exaggerated. The big sleeves, the color and texture of that belt, the layers of the skirt- all so 80s! I agree that this could be for graduation- I went to an all girls high school and we had to graduate in white dresses with at least cap sleeves and a tea length. Our dresses didn't look like this but i bet this is what the girls who graduated from my school in the 80s were wearing!
