Is it Hermes?

Probably not, but I can’t find anything helpful online and I’ve definitely tried! I’m just very curious about the designer of this high quality vintage skirt. It’s fully lined in a red silk fabric with what appears to be the letter “H” all throughout.
There are no tags anywhere on the skirt. The material definitely has some wool content but feels rather soft so probably a blend. It’s a medium to substantial weight and feel. A single button at the back zipper closure. Button is solid black on the surface and textured on the underside. Zipper is a typical slender vintage style. Pockets at side seams are lined with the red silk as well. Single center pleat at front. Flat backside. The style is an A-line Mini.
The only identifying feature is the single H initial surrounded by a soft cornered border. Evenly spaced throughout and visible on both sides of the lining.

Hey Victoria,
This is a tough one. I have never seen a boxed Hermes "H" before, only one within a circle. The font doesn't seem right to me. I found an example of a vintage monogram Hermes lining:

Unless the button is a replacement, it should be branded. My first inkling is it may be Halston.
