I found a long coat made by Oxxford Clothes for Neiman Marcus made of pure guanaco. It's a woman's double breasted coat. It seems vintage. We found it in my Grandmother's collection. How do I get information on this item?

Very nice! A classic style coat, but I'm getting a 1970s feel from the collar, cut, and fonts. I think it might be a men's coat - does it also button the other way, left over right?? Oxxford is a very high quality menswear maker although they do make some women's pieces. They are in Chicago. This would have been quite expensive new.

Yes can button either way. It's a man's coat? It could be Granddad's. They are gone so I can't ask about it.

I would say it is far more likely to be a man's coat, yes.
