is there a resource for scarf labels?

Hi --

Does anyone out there know if there exists (on line or elsewhere) some sort of reference guide to vintage scarf manufacturers/logos? It's easy enough when a scarf is signed or has a tag. But sometimes there's just a little logo or initials, or illegible name that isn't easily recognized (by me, anyway).

I've found several excellent maker's mark sites for help identifying vintage costume jewelry, but nothing to help with scarves. Anybody know anything?

And specifically, are you familiar with a brand that has the letters A and R in a two-tone diamond shape? That's: A | R in a diamond.

Thanks!

Some scarf marks/labels do make it onto the label resource I believe, and if you haven't done so already I would do a full search of the forums & label threads as they are not all integrated into the resource yet.

Unless it's in another language I would say that's going to be a name. When I get initials like that, I go to the surname letter in the label resource and look through all matches that have a first name with the right letter.

You may be better off doing a trademark text or image search. Can you add a photo of this mark?
