Is this a 20's car coat?

I have always described this as a 20's ladies car coat, but..... I just seen some on line described as the same and there length is a lot longer, A saying mine is a car coat becuse with mine your can turn the fur collar up , but mine is knee length.

it's cream Swede, with a fur collar.

If not what would you call this style of coat?

Lovely coat, Pauline - it looks like an early '60s suede coat with a possibly mink collar. Very nice. Car coats are usually shorter, as they're easier to wear when you're getting in and out of cars (or at least, that's what I've always thought!).
 
Oh well that's thrown a spanner in the works big time!
As it was bought 6 years ago from a VFG trade member who dated it back then as been to 1920's.
I have to say it is pretty tatty to be 60's.
