Is this a 60\'s Lanvin Dress?

Hello all! This is my first post to the board...
I just purchased this Vintage Lanvin dress and was wondering if any of the experts on here could assign a date of design to the dress. Based on the "labels" section of this site I would guess the 1960's. The label on the actual dress is not in the gallery on this site....

The label is a "boutique" label. Does this signify better quality and a rarer example? Or just the opposite? :-)

The dress looks very stylized, almost as if it were part a "themed collection". The top part is made of a black acrylic knit. The bottom of the dress is thick jersey knit, sorta like a sweatshirt. The bottom is finished with a faux fur.

Any thoughts or comments?

My comment is - VERY cool dress!

I think you're in the right period - perhaps late 60s early 70s, but I'd wait for confirmation. Usually with "boutique" on the label it is ready to wear (rtw).

what Deborah said--very cool dress! Interesting mix of fabrics....

I get a very early 70's feel on this, like maybe '70 to '72. The stripes and the jersey knit, I think, is what does that for me. The jersey-type knits were getting really big around that time, as I recall, and the faux fur trim looks almost identical to that on a coat I had from around then.
