Is this a dress or lingerie?

Hi all,

Happy Holidays! Not sure if this is a dress or lingerie. In the same group of clothes was a dress that looked very similar in color and length so this could go over as an overlay but that may be just a coincidence. Any thoughts?

It looks like a 70s dress that would have had a matching underslip. Gorgeous coloring!

Thank you! So could this dress be what was supposed to go underneath? Both have belt loops which threw me off.

I agree the chiffon is an overdress. I don't think the second one is it's partner, because the liner usually wouldn't also have sleeves. Perhaps they were made by the same people from the same range hence the similarity in shape and colour.

I agree with Melanie, the other looks like another dress. The underlining was usually just shaped like a slip with narrow straps.
