Is this a Military or Airline Cap?

Similar to a bell boy cap, black with gold band. The front has eagle patch, and the sides of eagle buttons. The inside of the cap is stamped, Superior Uniform & Regalia Corp. New York. Also what is the age? Thanks in advance!

I would guess Military school. I think it is really old. The bird emblem seems very serious to be costume...... Or for a hotel....

Yup - it's a consistory cap for the 32nd Degree of the Scottish Rite (Freemasons/Masonic)
