Is this a rose? help.

I vote 1950s rose, as in "artistic rendition." Also think it makes a better search word than any other specific flower, or just plain "flower." (Very small personal research on that subject!)

I've decided. Peony.

Google "red peony" and then go to "images" and you will see boatloads of them. Some may actually BE in boats!

What about 1950's Peony Rose?

Peony rose sounds great, and I know people who actually use that term. I wonder if that is a regional thing. Any one else ever heard the term?

Niiice! Great background too!

The flower reminded me of those semi-cultivated old wild roses that have several layers but a big centre too.

But that's no good, so peony rose it is!

Very 'Barefoot Contessa' somehow...

Oh boy Sandra! That will do very, very well!! Roses always do but put them on a cool circle skirt and watch it go!!

Nice one girlie!! :wow:

I also thought it looked like wild roses, but upon closer inspection, the petals are the wrong shape, as are the leaves.

Great dress!!

and background!!!:D

Sorry, I just woke up...LATE.

I think it's a fabulous shower curtain and it makes for a great background.

At least your toilet isn't in view. Or someone actually USING the shower.

Although, if it was a tall, thin 18-year-old guy, that would be OK.

You are a very cleaver person!!! :bouncy:

That is such an excellent idea!!

I don't think it screams shower curtain. I think it looks very nice!!

You could probably get the folds out by actually hanging it in the bathroom during a few showers. The heat and steam should drop the folds right out!!

Got any more cool tricks of the trade secrets you are willing to share??
