Is This a True 1920s piece?

Hello, can you please show us close ups of the embroidery and tell us what it is lined with eg, what sort of silk. Is it hand or machine sewn?

In short, it could be '20s but more information is needed. From these pics it seems to be in great condition, and that is making it look like it could be more modern perhaps.

The lining does look like an older lining. A close up would help of the lining and the embroidery and that woven ribbon panel inset on the sleeve portion.

Indeed - the condition certainly make it look more modern. I wonder if there is a way to date these by the size of the frogs. Those are really thin. And I agree with MJ - the lining looks older, but that may be a misleading photo. It is a beauty.

These are the pics my sister took. She saw it and snagged it for me. I'm expecting it to arrive any day now and I'll snap more photos. It does have some water stains..
