Is this a true Bonnie Cashin or older Coach wallet?

Any Bonnie Cashin/older Coach experts out there? I have a decent collection but am by no means an "expert" and came across this wallet recently. It's odd because it has the "B" on the hinges, the striped color lining - but no where is there any marking indicating either Bonnie Cashin or Coach! The only marking on the wallet is a gold stamp (which I've NEVER seen on any of my Bonnie Cashin or Coach items) that reads "Glove Tanned Cowhide". I have never seen that stamping on the leather and the awning stripes seem to be a variation on her typical colors. Also, I recall one collector told me that the "b" stamped hinge is NOT exclusive to Bonnie's designs and that other manufacturers used those hinges, too.
 
It's funny because I have a bag with the stripes and they are different than this wallet (they have thin black lines in between each colored line). Hadn't heard that about the "B" on the hinges though - but it makes sense, esp with the gold embossed stamp and no other Coach or Bonnie stamp! Thanks so much :)
 
Interesting update: I was browsing eBay and spotted this wallet for sale.

It appears to have the same markings as my wallet (stamp and stripes)- and the seller is stating that it's Bonnie Cashin from the 60s but "new"?? I'm soooo confused! I may write to Stephanie Lake at the foundation to see if she can help, as I'd really like to know if this wallet is legit or not. I'll keep you all posted on my findings :)
 
Hello All - Just a quick update: I spoke with Stephanie Lake (Bonnie Cashin Foundation) and she confirmed that the wallet is indeed Bonnie's (yeahy!) and that the "b" on the hinge has nothing to do with Bonnie! It's actually the stamp for the hinge manufacturer, Branson, who provided hardware to many companies :)

So the mystery has been solved! Hope this info helps all of you who are fellow Bonnie Cashin lovers :D
