Is this bag authentic vintage Gucci?

Hello,

I have acquired a vintage shoulder bag with "Gucci" written on it. My instincts say it isn't genuine, but then I started to read that vintage gucci doesn't always have serial numbers. Mine doesn't and doesn't say "made in italy" anywhere

I saw someone selling the charm off this bag on ebay as genuine. So now I am utterly confused. Any opinions welcome. Thanks.

hmm, and please don't think that it's genuine just because someone is selling a bit of it on ebay! Ebay is awash with fakes.

i have some further pics, but they don't reveal anything more, there are no markings on the buckle of the strap. Exterior is suede. Thanks again for your help

Can you post some larger close ups? Especially of the logo, interior...these pics are too small to see the details and what I'm looking for is signs of quality or lack thereof. From what you've posted though, this does not look like a nicely made item - for starters, it looks like the clasp is not centred on the front, or rather the woven design is off centre. A small detail that I would expect from the genuine article.
