Is this dress 1920s?? or 1930s??

I found this dress and I am needing help dating...at first I thought it was 1920s...but then I thought maybe 30s. At the left side of the dress there is a slit with 1 snap...I am just assuming that the rest of the snaps and maybe 2 sets of hook and eye are missing at the waist band....what do you all think??

OK, me again, lol! Knit rayon dress and skirt sweater sets, knit dresses and even ribbon crochet dresses were popular in the 1940s. Your dress (or is it a set?) is crochet and could date to that era as well. The neckline seems a bit low and the sleeves are rather big but it could just be the way it is hung on a small dress form. It looks right for that time to me. We will see what others have to contribute on this dress. It is lovely!
