is this Hardy Amies tie from the 80s?

I'm pretty sure this is an 80s tie, but I get confused because of width variations over the decades....its 3 inches wide and 52 inches long.

sorry Jonathan, the angle I took the photo on is making it look way wider.....I've got to redo that....its 3 inches wide 52 long....
