I was going to list this as 60s, but just want to check in first to see if there is any reason I should be putting this a little further along into 70s?
Thanks a lot for any input.
Lauren

Hi Lauren,

I wouldn't call that a maxi: maxis are floor length, this one looks mid-calf.

I suspect it's '70s but the labels will help - are there any more? Can you please tell us (or show a clearer pic) what is on the second label, attached to the bottom of the "Sun Fashions" label? Thank you.

Hi Nicole,
The label says 'style 204 and Size 10' no other labels. My model is quite tall so I was thinking it wa meant for someone shorter....or would you call something like this a 'hostess gown'?

The lilacs have just passed their prime....such a great spring bloom! You know the hem is so perfect I would have said it was original, but I poked around it a bit and wonder if it has been very expertly altered....thanks MS for the photo, your label looks older than mine for sure.

Hi, that is a 70s Hawaiian Holomu or in other words, a fitted Hawaiian dress without a train. I agree, it would or should be full length, but your model does look tall for the dress. Love it!

Oh, and Spectrums looks even earlier, like late 50s. That label looks very old. The style and such look late 50s, but could be into the early 60s. The print has me a bit stumped but it is gorgeous.

edit...OK, just looked at Spectums actual listing and fabric etc. Early 60s does seem better.

excellent, I love days with new words to be learned....Holomu. i'll get a shot of the hem later today.
