Is this neat dress from the 40's or 50's?

Is this neat dress from the 40's or 50's? How detrimental do you think a small moth (or whatever) hole on the front near the bust is, and should I try to fix it or do anything to it before listing it? Isn't this one great? It just has such style I think! It has no label, and a metal zipper at the back.

I'd say 1950s with that arc shaped kimono sleeve. Reweaving is pretty pricey, so unless you have someone who will give you a good price on the work, I'd leave it be.

Stunning style! I'll go with early '50s and agree with selling as is. I find that issues on the bust can be very detrimental to the price but it depends on what they are of course, and how bad. It must be pretty small if you can't see on these photos.
