Hot Hot Pink - leaning towards fuschia with a LOT of sequins. Really nice mid-weight wool gabardine.

I used to call it my Grand Ol Opry jacket 'cause I always felt a bit like Porter Wagoner when I wore it. ;)

My first guess is that its 90s. That sort of notched collar/longer silhouette jacket was popular around when I was buying suits somewhere in the 1993-1995 range before they started getting boxy. They came with miniskirts or pencil skirts. I don't know what that individual label was doing at the time, but that's my first instinct. I see the shoulder pads, but there were shoulder pads then too - more on the earlier end and it could be that the shoulders are too wide for the manni rather then the shoulder pads being extra wide. I remember there being shawl collars, but also the notched collars that were sort of retro 40s.

I could be totally off but that's my gut. MAYBE it could be 1989 if it were the 80s, but I really think this is early to mid 90s if its not more recent

Where's the pics??

I wouldn't list it as Dynasty. I picture "Dynasty" as huge shoulder pads, less of a tailored jacket and more of an upside down triangle silhouette and some bling. This isn't "high 80s" and not over the top enough. I think that this would do for a New Years (that we are late for) or some sort of black tie event where a lady wants to be a bit more conservative than a strapless gown - or maybe this could go with jeans, who knows but the length might more lend to a miniskirt.

I would call it a "dressy beaded geometric jacket or blazer" and list it in the regular clothing section, and not vintage. Something along those lines, but cut out a few words.

Make sure to put "notched collar" in there somewhere...description? title? Don't know. and oh yeah...PINK. not sure if one would call this a 3/4 blazer...

Wow - thanks so much, everyone.

I listed it this morning in the regular clothing section before I came here, so the actual title is

Adrianna Papëll Magenta Wow Jacket Black Sequins sz 6

I guess if I'd used Pink rather than magenta, I could've fit geometric in there somewhere.

Now I'll have to decide if I want to change the title.
Thing is the color is a TRUE magenta...

What's a 3/4 blazer?

"I would use pink in the title and then describe it as magenta pink in the listing."

Oh - good thought, trell. Thank you!

New Title:

Adrianna Papëll Hot Pink Jacket Black Sequins sz 6

with magenta in the description.

Sometimes I forget that the most obvious is the better KW choice. I tend to try to get it so accurate, I forget that most peeps won't search the detailed color name.

Thanks so much, ladies.

And thanks, Chris for that definition. I just always 'see' this length as 'regular' and only note if a jacket is waist length or a bolero or to the knee or longer.

See - you can each an ol broad new schtuff. ;-)
