Is this pattern 1940s or 1960s?

This pattern is confusing me, so I would appreciate some help!

I have several patterns from this mail order company, and they have all dated in the 1940s and 1950s. At first I was thinking late 1940s for this one based on the jacket style, but the hair style on the model is throwing me. Looks like a bob that has been rolled up at the ends, a la 1960s! But on the other side of the instruction sheet is an advertisement for two dress patterns that are clearly late 1940s styles.

So, what do you think. Am I safe in chalking up the hairstyle as a strange illustration and calling this late 1940s?

Laura--I can't really see the hairstyle, but everything else about that pattern says older than 60s to me!

I can't see the hairstyle very well either, but I agree with 40s. I have a 40s skirt similar to that one.

Surely this is 40s. Is the bust a 38" ?

Thank you all for the confirmation. Everything said '40s to me except that darn hairstyle! I think it must be intended to be a rolled '40s hair style, but the illustration was done so weirdly that it came across as a '60s bob.

It's a size 18/36" bust, which also points to '40s.
