Is this romper or gym suit?

It is miniskirt romper?1930's 40's Its made of cotton the buttons are for decoration and there are snaps on the side? Nice big puffy shoulders. Is this gym suit or what would be the right description?

No. There probally were but not sure. But no chance where I found this that the panties would turn up. Well I hope there were panties with it. Sighhhh..... I might get lucky and find some....

It's definitely a gymsuit, and I'd say late 30s or early 40s/ Too bad about the bloomers being missing. It's an interesting color.

I can put it with the four 1940's 50's bikini tops I have wihtout bottoms... I bought them because they would look cool with shorts or jeans....

My first thought was a gym suit, too. Did they have to have bottoms or did they wear those long legging things? I am out of my league.
