Is this the correct era on these two vintage scarves?

Hi,

I am guessing the two scarves to be from the 50's, but want to be sure. The World's Fair scarf is made of silk and bullfighter scarf is made of rayon. Does this era seem correct?

Hi,

The Seattle World's Fair was in 1962, so your scarf would date to then.

The other rayon scarf looks like it could be from the late 40s or early 50s.

Very cool scarves; I love the bullfighting one, and I agree with Mary Jane. I got a very 40's vibe when first I saw the picture. Of course, possibly into the early 50s. I find dating scarves can be very difficult for me, unless I can see and touch the fabric in person....

Thank you both! I find scarves hard to date and when I saw the way the family was dressed in the Seattle scarf, I thought 50's. I should have remembered about the 1962 thing.

I looked at the informative guide on Vera scarves that Bijou Vintage suggested. I'm guessing my Vera scarf to be late 60's-70's.
