Items that are signed...

If someone says that something they are selling is signed, wouldnt that mean the item needs to have the maker or designers label/stamp on it? (not a tag that says where it was made).

Just curious.
Thanks

yes, l understand it to mean, label with makers name or house of.....
also can been signed actually, like a silk scarf, label/ signature/ name of designer, sometimes all three...
soem designers have serial # too..
lm sure others will chip in with other info...

I was just skimming through some auctions and seen one that was a leather purse that was signed. In the auction it never states who it is made by and the only tag shown or name per se, is the Made in Hong Kong.
So it made me think.... just being curious... :BAGUSE:

yeah, if it states 'made in....' that doesnt represent a signature.

Vera, Ceil Chapman, Waldybag, Whiting & Davis, etc does...
hope this helps..
