Is this a jacket or a jacket dress??

I assumed this was a jacket but now I'm wondering if it isn't a jacket dress?

Ladies, help! I need a second opinion because I keep second guessing myself. Help! I'm pulling my hair out.

yes I think coat too.. I think to qualify as a coat dress or Jacket dress it must close up the front (covering the woman parts lol) with a method other than a belt... Usually buttons,, but I have some that use front zippers with 1 or 2 accent buttons..

also when you take your pictures... I think you should ahve the sun behind you,,, get all the natural light you can on the garment,,, it will show the color and texture better and make it look more stunning as opposed to spots of natural light making the colors hard to distinguish,,,,

I may be wrong about this though because this is not my forte, but I know when taking personal photos I was taught to have the sun behind me whenever I can for the best pictures.. :-)

I still love the scenery, I wish I had a nice area like that... my woods are rampant with water moccasins this time of year and I dare not tread out near them, since the little suckers already gotten in my garage and flower bed by my front door!!! EEEKKKK!!!! I need a BIG dog!! haha

Thanks again for all your help. I was in the midst of describing it and realized it didn't have a liner. Whew. At first glance, I'm not the only one it had fooled there for a second.
