thank you . Have you seen one like it? Not sure how rare it isIt is lovely and I would say it's from the 1950s!
Thank you! I hadn't seen that oneBecause of the ballerina print, it's likely to be more desirable.
Here's a link to a Jacqmar scarf on Etsy that sold. It has a ballerina print, but not exactly like yours. I'm sure during this period they made various ballerina prints.

Now here's an interesting scarf from the 40s that probably is rare because of the signatures of famous ballerinas in the print. And, the little chat is nice because it tells a little history of the Jacqmar brand.

I think so. Strange isn't it!the ballerina scarf was a fairly common accessory in the 40s/50s but they are kind of hard to come by now, if that makes sense.
Not so strange maybe... people who collect and wear scarves adore them and maybe keep them or pass them down more than let them hit the open market? I find them in the wild maybe 4-5 times a years. They sell FAST.I think so. Strange isn't it!

I dunno... I just find them. Estates, old lady thrift stores... last one I found was in the garage in a box of a blankets and towels. Just gotta dig. lolWow, how do you find them so often? I'd love to find one.
I feel like what you find has mostly to do with what you know to look for. So for example I once found a 1940s Fast Color bandana. I knew from looking at the fabric that it was old, since I know what old fabric looks and feels like. But I didn’t know certain Fast Color bandanas sell for a lot! As soon as I sold that one I started finding more. Because once I knew exactly what they looked like, I could easily spot them in a tangle of other stuff.Wow, how do you find them so often? It does and I totally agree.the ballerina scarf was a fairly common accessory in the 40s/50s but they are kind of hard to come by now, if that makes sense.
