Jacques Andre shoes - anyone familiar with these?

Hi everyone,

I can't seem to find a thing about this Jacques Andre brand excepting an expired trademark registration that went from 1984 to 1992. These shoes strike me as being considerably older than 1984, but that might just be my novice eye...

Has anyone come across this label before? From what time period do you believe these shoes are?

c.1960-3 I've not come across that name before but I found some snippets from newspapers in the 60's/70's advertising Jaques Andre shoes alongside Andrew Geller so quite a high quality maker I think. Unfortunately all the ads are pay-per-view, so that was all I could garner.
