hello to everyone .
I just joined the GFR and I really love it !
may someone understand this label of Jacques Fath Paris ?
"copie" and the number handmade, means that is a limited edition?
rare and expensive on the vintage market?
this label is on a woman hat, period in my opinion 70s. Many Many thanks for your help.anna

Copie is French for Copy.
We do not value items here as per the forum rules.

Hello and welcome. We can date it for you, if you show the entire hat. The label and what part I can see, looks 1960s. While we do not give values here on the VFG, I can tell you that it is neither rare (it would have to be the only one ever made) nor would it be expensive on the vintage market. Wish I had better news.

O.K. coming back to the question,
this the hat. my sensation is that is authentic.
has been washed, this is the reason of the label in that way.
I think this is wool jersey.
Band around the head is missing.
